At the request of the Sisters of the Visitation, we have developed this rosary, which is specially personalized for the devotion to the Sacred Heart of Paray-le-Monial.

History and use of the rosary of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Composed of 33 beads and five marks, this rosary is a crown that honors the life of Our Lord and his holy wounds.

On the cross where the medal is displayed, the Magnificat is recited to honor the first movements of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, expressed in the canticle of his Holy Mother. At the same time, the union of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary is honored. We join in the praise that both offered to the Father during the nine months that the Virgin carried her divine child.

On the marks, we say the Our Father to honor the five wounds of Jesus Christ, and to unite our prayers with those of his Heart, offering them to the Father, for all the needs of the holy Church and for the rulers of the people.

On the 33 small beads, one says: “Most loving Heart, only true worshipper of God, blessed are you, have mercy on us,” to unite oneself to the love, praise, and adoration that the Sacred Heart of Jesus offered to the Father during the 33 years of his mortal life, and to those that he offers to Him in heaven for all eternity and on earth in the Blessed Sacrament.
